Harvest 2019 is Underway!
Chardonnay and Pinot Gris picked Oct. 2nd, Others Sunday, October 13th
Pinot Gris led off the 2019 Crush on October 2nd, and was shortly followed by Chardonnay (pictured). As they ferment, they fill our adjoining tasting room with sweet, fruity aromas for guests to enjoy. We’re open daily throughout October from 10-5:30, and you’re welcome to visit and check out the action!
Thanksgiving Sunday was a big day at Oliver Twist, as we brought in the remainder of our estate’s crop: Kerner, Viognier, Merlot and Syrah.
Winemaker Denice Hagerman is reminded of the 2008 vintage, and looks forward to smooth wines with moderate alcohol levels from the 2019 crop.
“We’re doing crush in beautiful sunshine,” says Denice. She and co-winemaker Gina Harfman had a lot to be thankful for and with their wine-making skill, vintage 2019 will give us all something to be thankful for when it’s ready to release.
